AuD Graduation Information

SPECIFIC INFORMATION FOR TERM:

USING YOUR NEW TITLE: "Au.D."
You may use the title “Doctor” and include the Au.D. after your name only after your degree is conferred, which is your date of graduation. Until that day, even if your degree requirements are completed, it is not acceptable to use the title or any derivation of it. It is appropriate to include your status as a current University of Florida student along with your anticipated degree and date of graduation on your CV or resume.

DIPLOMAS
Diplomas are mailed 8 - 10 weeks after the commencement ceremony. You can use your title on May 3, but the diplomas are mailed later. Please go to http://my.ufl.edu to be sure UF has your correct mailing address in the directory (look under "My Account" tab). If you need assistance to change your directory information, please contact Mary Ann Hagler at the Registrar (mhagler@ufl.edu). Be sure to let her know you are an AuD Distance Learning student, and include your UFID number.

TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS
Official transcript requests can be submitted now with a request to hold until after the end of the semester. You may wish to have an official copy of your transcript that shows the Doctor of Audiology degree was awarded. The transcript (not the diploma) is your official record of the degree. You can request an official transcript through the UF Links (to the left).
